Photoshop June 2022 update
Happy Summer! This month's Photoshop release includes a cool feature that lets you curve images around a cylindrical surface, as well as other enhancements and features you can read about below. What's new?

Cylindrical Transform Warp
The new Cylindrical Transform Warp gives you the ability to curve flat artwork around a cylindrical surface. You have the ability to resize and transform. To learn more, see Warp images, shapes, and paths.

Preserve Hair Details
Object Selection tool now has enhanced hair selection for people portraits. For images such as furry animal photos, you can use the Refine Hair option in the Select and Mask workspace. To learn more, see Make quick selections.

Guide Enhancements
You can now customize your guides at the document level, rather than setting global preferences. To learn more, see Grid and Guides.

Emoji shorthand for in-app comments
We added emoji shorthand support for in-app commenting in cloud documents. To learn more, see Share files and comment in-app.
Other changes and enhancements
Video edit and playback support for Apple Silicon machines
Native support for video editing and playback is now enabled for Mac devices using the Apple Silicon M1 chips. You can enable the feature by clicking on Windows > Timeline. To learn more, see Photoshop for Apple Silicon.
Save As update
When you select Save As from a new document, the cloud document picker dialog will appear by default so you can save your files to Creative Cloud. You also have the option to save locally on your computer from the dialog. There is also an option to revert to the previous 'Save As' behavior. For more information, see Save files in Photoshop.
Spring Loaded tool shortcut preference
Photoshop 23.4 allows the ability to spring-load any tool by simply pressing and holding its keyboard shortcut. For more information, see Use Tools in Photoshop.
