Adobe Tips for Teachers Short videos by teachers for classrooms

The Australian Adobe Education team is asking Victorian and NSW state school teachers to share a video on how and why they use Adobe tools in their learning and teaching practice.

The first 50 clips that meet the criteria will receive a $50 gift voucher

You don't have to be an Adobe expert or a multimedia designer! We are looking for video testimonials from teachers who are new to Adobe, as well as from those who have been using the tools for many years, to inspire and to share how they engage digital creativity in the classroom. This could include tips on using it with another platform, a trick or a small creative activity!

Criteria

  • Create a video on how you use Adobe in your classroom (this can be a tip, a trick or an idea)
  • The video length must be less that 2 minutes.
  • The video needs to be filmed in landscape / widescreen 16:9, not portrait.
  • Make sure all images are your own. Screen capturing Adobe software is permissible for this activity.
  • Includes this lower third graphic with your preferred name, year level or subject you teach
  • Video must be edited in Adobe Premiere Rush or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Export in either 720 High Def or 1080 Full High Def as a MP4 or MOV format (standard for Adobe Premiere Rush).

Recommendations

  • [Optional] If possible, use an external mic for any important audio.
  • Avoid filming students faces and identifying students in any way.
  • Keep the video interesting with lots of cutaway shots, screen grabs or other still images that help explain your story. Think about using the 10 second rule.

Submission Deadline

Must be submitted by 5pm Friday 5th of May (Term 2, Week 2)
