Session Q&A

Question Answer
Great templates but they don't come out of the box. Where does one purchase this upgrade? There's a standard site template provided by Adobe: https://github.com/adobe/aem-site-template-standard/ For other templates, it's really up to how the partners who built them want to monetize them.
Question: Is Integration with Analytics options available on AEM (hosted on AMS)? This quick site creation feature is specific to the cloud service. You can integrate AA on AEM 6.5, just not with the handy shortcuts
Will the frontend pipeline be available for Cloud Manager for AEM 6.5 as well? At this point we have the Front-end Pipeline for Cloud Service - given the nature of the immutable repo - we need a fast way to deploy these. We are looking into when we want to provide it for AMS too.
The frontend pipeline is specific to AEM as a Cloud Service for now.
Does the simplified Analytics integration auto-setup Launch integration, or is that still needed? Yes - it's using Launch - as in auto-configures Launch
Question: Is Integration with Analytics options available on AEM (hosted on AMS)? Correct, it works for Cloud Service. One minor comment is that the automated Analytics setup is not tightly coupled to quick site creation. Would work for sites that are built with Archetype as well.
Is the XD file for Core Components the same as provided on GitHub? We've seen some gaps especially when it comes to mobile. Curious if it being updated? It's an updated version that is provided on the Adobe's Standard Site Template, but we'll have to update the one for the Core Components accordingly, so that they are identical.
(As a front-end engineer) can you share the documentation on the deployment process for site templates, please? I tried to get this working in one of our instances a couple of weeks ago and found conflicting configuration examples in the repositories, and we were stymied with the github automation for deployment. Is it more ready for prime time? Is there documentation?
Where do you download the Tailwind Theme? Their example project has tailwind configured: https://github.com/adobe/aem-site-template-standard/ It's nice to see. I've used it in production on a couple of AEMaaCS sites (both standalone and with SASS/SCSS) and it's a great fit for AEM.

The example shown in the demo was actually the following site template: https://github.com/ez-aem/aem-site-template-tailwind
Question: Is Integration with Analytics option available for Assets, to capture analytics reports on how the assets are performing on an actual page/mobile page? Not yet as part of the feature that I demoed just earlier. We are working on much improved Assets performance tracking.
I probably missed this earlier ... What version of AEM are these features available in? All features shown are available (or will be shortly) on AEM as a Cloud Service
Is this personalization available out of the box? Or does it require Adobe Target or other add-ons? We have several options to personalize your content. Context Hub and Experience Fragments Personalization is available OOTB. If you are looking to integrate with Target and Analytics, additional personalization features are also available.
(As a front-end engineer) can you share the documentation on the deployment process for site templates, please? Hi , a lot of things improved since the GitHub automation. Check out following documentation for a start: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/sites/administering...

The JS developer can work locally without having to run AEM locally by running the proxy server that Cédric briefly showed, which will serve the content from AEM while using the CSS and JS files provided by the JS developer locally.

FYI, the full end-to-end workflow can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQeQ1jZ7ZBw

Thank you! I love the goal of not _needing_ a local environment, but front end work is so collaborative - we'll need our designers and QA engineers, etc, to be able to access our work to support our agile workflow ... if I'm struggling to get the proxy to work...
How do you access the metrics/CWV? it looked like he was using chrome dev tools for lighthouse metrics and a chrome extension for web vitals.

There is a ootb performance audit in our Experience Audit feature in Cloud Manager pipelines that leverage Google Lighthouse technology. Otherwise, you can manually test CWV of pages using Google Chrome Dev Tools.

In the demo I used Lighthouse that is part of Google Chrome for 'lab' performance - and I used the Core Web Vitals Extension from Google to get the data from my current visit and access the Chrome User Experience Report data.
would that apply for Experience Fragments too? The new UI that Cedric showed is to manage and search Content Fragments only
Is there a way as authors build a page they can have a preview of the impact of the content on those core web vitals? Today, while you can preview the Core Web Vitas for your own visit - it's an aggregated metric that needs real-world visitors to determine the actual score. So in that sense - it's not possible to get a 'preview' of it - until it's out in the wild. For that you use 'lab' data from Ligththouse
Do we have CDN option with respect to AEM 6.5 (AMS)? or this is more with cloud service? Cloud Services comes with CDN included - AMS has CDN optional. With both you can achieve the same level of end user performance
