Right before the pandemic hit - Fr. John was going in for treatment and surgery for brain cancer. I think a week later, he was already live streaming doing the breviary, rosary, and sometimes daily Mass from his hospital room not only for his church but many people around the world. We should be ministering to him! But even in the midst of just having a brain tumor removed, he thought of everyone else. Please pray for him and his healing.

He has publicly said he is offering up his sufferings with brain cancer for clergy abuse survivors, which I am one. He asked God for a way to help survivors and he said he believes this is it. I cannot begin to tell you how much this means to me as a clergy abuse survivor.

Father John is completely selfless.
