RESTORATION NEWSLETTER July 2020

Men's Service Project/Cookout

Gentlemen, we have the opportunity to make Jesus non-ignorable by serving a daycare center that cares for foster kids. The yard is in need of cleaning and there are several small projects we can help them with as well.

When: Saturday July 25th

Time: 8:30am

Where: 1830 South Quebec Way, Denver, CO 80231 (park on the road)

What to Bring: Rakes, hoes, shovels, weed whackers, work gloves, etc for weeding and grading parts of the yard. Also plan to bring some cash as we will be taking a love offering to cover expenses and provide as a gift to the owner.

Cookout will follow immediately after we’re done at the daycare center.

Where: Brian Bailey’s house (427 South Wheeling Way, Aurora, CO 80012)

What to Bring: Hamburgers will be provided. Please bring fixings, sides, drinks or whatever else you’d like to provide.

Contact: Brian Bailey at Brian@thecalvary.org with any questions.

Phase III

Calvary Restoration's Pandemic Response

Starting Sunday, August 2 you will have the option of worshipping at the church building. The service will also be on zoom if you choose to worship at home or with a house church.

For those coming to the building you will need to wear a facemask and maintain physical distancing (sadly, still no hugs or handshakes).

In this phase we will not be providing a nursery or children's ministry.

Questions? Contact pastors Jeff Jung or Isaac Mahoney.

Membership Classes

To become a covenant member of Calvary Restoration you must attend a membership class and sign the membership covenant. Two classes are coming up: Sunday, Aug. 2, 1:30-3:00pm and Tuesday, Aug. 4, 7:-8:30pm
