- Description: Rooidam Cottages & Campsites is the perfect choice for an overnight stop on the N12 halfway between the Cape Peninsula and Gauteng as well as halfway between the Eastern Cape and the Kalahari/Namibia. We are on a working Karoo sheep-farm and only 1 km off the main road. Also very accessible by large caravans, road bikes and low profile cars.
- Accommodation: Choose between 3 cottages and an Apartment. Three star self-catering accommodation. Fully-equipped (sleep 19 in total). Safe and secure under-roof parking (Granaat) and under shaded net (Karee & Bloubos) that is close to the cottages. Outside plugs available. the 3 star self-catering accommodation consist of 3 cottages and an apartment.
- At the shaded camp-sites each site has its own ablutions.
- Karee Cottage: Karee Cottage has a main bedroom with a double bed, an adjacent room with 2 single beds, a kitchenette area and a full bathroom.

- Granaat Cottage: This is a double storey unit. Ground floor has a double bed, kitchenette, sitting area and full bathroom. First floor has a double bed, 2 single beds and toilet (with basin). The roof was designed as a look-out platform and one can enjoy a Karoo-sunset or sleep under the stars in the summer.

- The Apartment: This 3 star self-catering unit is adjacent to the owner's home but is totally private with private entrance. The apartment has its own stoep with braai-facility. From the stoep you have an open view on orchard. The Apartment has a main bedroom with 2 double beds. An adjacent room with 1 single beds, kitchenette, sitting area, bathroom with shower.
