Globally, it has been widely misunderstood that black men are largely poor, unlearned, and are innately at-risk. Throughout history these erroneous myths alone with unfavorable statistics have remained the culprit used to paint a nefarious narrative about the black and brown men. However, this travesty of an attempt by society to define men of color has terribly failed to capture the vibrant and colorful story of black masculinity; here lies the purpose and reason for existence of RULERS MAGAZINE & RULERS MAGAZINE LIVE. Hello, I am LaTonya MeChelle, the Owner of TygerEyez 360 Media and the Visionary behind Rulers Magazine. It's pretty simple to me. I love and respect black men and I felt that there was a need to have platforms to remind them of that consistently. The world seems to cater to everyone else but the black man. Black Men need & deserve attention too. So, my team is giving it to them. It's not just about just giving black men a place where they can see those that share their same color, shine! But to show everyone else that good black men really do exist worldwide.
