Meaning the backend remains the same and we will be enhancing the UI to show actions based on permissions | Not yet. But that's the plan. We will be restricted based on the user's role. Also, we plan to have feature parity between both UIs |
With the new Content Fragment UI, the old UI will be removed? | There are no plans to remove it at the moment. Of course, new features will be developed primarily for the new UI |
Will it be made available for on-prem? | That is still to be determined. We don't have a timeline for that yet |
This new UI is available only on AEM as a Cloud Service. | Yes, at the moment it is only for AEMCS |
What AEM package do we need to install to get the new UI for on-prem solution? Is there a specific service pack that we should be on? Thank you | Only available within AEMCS and it would be coming automatically with the latest release |
