88th Tri-State Matches The Aquidneck Club, Oct. 11-12

History

Rhode Island will host the 88th Tri-State Matches at The Aquidneck Club in Portsmouth, R.I. on Oct. 11-12.

The event features three organizations: Rhode Island Golf Association, Mass Golf and the Connecticut State Golf Association. Day One will feature alternate shot matches in the morning and afternoon singles matches.

The Tri-State matches will conclude Wednesday, Oct. 12 with Four-Ball matches.

The RIGA seeks its first title since 2001. History is on its side. The last time team RIGA won was on its home turf at Newport Country Club. In 2021, Mass Golf won by 19.5 points over the RIGA at Cape Cod National Golf Club.
