Radnor High School 2021 Commencement June 16, 2021 • villanova university stadium

Radnor High School celebrated the 309 members of the Class of 2021 at the school's 125th Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, June 16 at Villanova University Stadium.

Speakers included valedictorian and class president Brendan Hung, salutatorian Richa Kuklani, class vice president Victoria DiCarlo, class treasurer Elise Palmer, executive director of student affairs Sheila Esgro, and class secretary Rebecca Zajac.

This year's keynote address was delivered by longtime Ithan Elementary School physical education, health and wellness teacher Tim Midgett, a 1976 graduate of Radnor High School who plans to retire at the end of the 2020-21 school year after 30 years of service.

The graduates gathered in the Jake Nevin Field House at Villanova University prior to the start of the ceremony.

The graduates entered the Villanova University Stadium to applause from family members and friends.

Cyrus Taghavi ('21), accompanied by members of the RHS band, performed "The Star Spangled Banner."

Class sponsors Jeffrey Hunsberger and Danielle Staiber announced the graduates. Diplomas were presented by principal PT Kevgas and superintendent Dr. Ken Batchelor.

The ceremony concluded with the tossing of the graduates' caps.
