I believe that a boudoir experience is one of the most fun and life affirming things a woman can do for herself. This is your "me" time, the moment to celebrate being a woman and who you are today! That's why I choose to shoot boudoir portraits to celebrate and capture the essence of you. Seeing the confidence radiate from everyone after their sessions is, *chefs kiss*.
Boudoir is for everyone. No matter your age, size, race or sexuality, you can rock a boudoir shoot! Honestly, you will see yourself in a whole new light whether you're brimming with confidence or a bit shy. I have a great team that works with me to make this experience everything it should be - fun and exciting!

The Boudoir Experience
Your boudoir experience from start to finish... what you can expect at your session with us and how it all works!
How to prep - Outfits:
- We have a client closet with 100+ amazing lingerie choices in sizes XS-4XL. There is something for everrrryyyone! You are more than welcome to borrow anything from our closet, bring your own lingerie OR mix and match between the two. The only requirement for utilizing the client closet is to bring with a nude or black thong/g-string to wear underneath our piece.
- Lingerie: Feel free to bring any of your own lingerie or outfits! I recommend bodysuits/teddies and recommend staying away from babydoll style or outfits that will make you lose shape or curves (such as large t-shirts and jerseys). If you have any questions on what else to pack scroll down to see more on outfits!
- If you want the "jersey" or "mens dress shirt" look, please bring a woman's version so we can show off your beautiful curves.
How to Arrive to the Studio
- All appointments take place Friday's or Sunday's at 11:00am - make sure to eat breakfast before arriving! You're going to work your booty off with all of the arching and poses! I promise that eating breakfast will not make or break how you look in photos, but missing it may cause you to feel faint so make sure to eat!
- Arrive with a clean, moisturized face and completely dry hair. Please do not arrive with wet hair.
- Arrive in loose clothing (I recommend bra-less) to prevent lines/dents in your skin from tight pants or socks.
- Our studio is fairly small and is by appointment only. Friends or Plus Ones are not allowed in the studio. Thank you for understanding; our studio is a private space.
Our West End Ottawa studio address is only given to booked clients and is by appointment only. You'll receive the address once you book your session.
The Boudoir Experience Timeline:
- 11:00am-12:15pm: Arrive at the studio then hop in the hair and makeup chair! Our professional hair and makeup artist will ask you how you'd like your hair and makeup to be styled and will start glamming you up after confirming what look you're going for!
- 12:15pm-12:30pm: Time to try on some outfits! I'll pull several lingerie pieces in your size and colour preferences to try on! You'll have a private space to try it all on and choose your favourites!
- 12:30pm-2:00pm: It's time to shoot!! Yaaasss! Every boudoir experience comes with minimum 2 outfit changes. The photoshoot may seem like it's the most stressful but I promise that it's super easy! I will tell you exactly what to do, where to look, how to breath and everything is tailored to your comfort level. We can keep poses conservative, spice it up or do a mix of both! You'll let me know what your comfort level is in your pre-session questionnaire. I got you, babe!
- After Your Shoot: YAY! You made it! From there we will take about a 1.5 hour break where you'll leave to get lunch, run errands or relax while I edit your gallery for your same day image reveal and ordering appointment! Your gallery will *not* be fully retouched when you come back but will be colour corrected with light retouching; this part is honestly super fun because you get to see how gorgeous you naturally are and is such a huge confidence booster! Full retouching will happen on the images that you purchase (removal of bruises, blemishes, stray hairs, etc.)
Same Day Image Reveal and Ordering Appointment
- The moment that you've been waiting for! This is where you will see your entire gallery in person on the big screen! When you arrive back to the studio after our 1.5 hour break for your same day image reveal day, we'll get started right away so that you don't have to wait a moment longer to see your gorgeous images. We'll go through every photo one by one so that we can pick out your favourite images!
- Once we have all of your favourite images, you'll decide how you want to display them, and if you would like to upgrade your pre-payment purchase. Everything I offer is customizable with lots of different cover choices, engraving options and size variations so you can truly tailor it to your taste.The image reveal appointment takes roughly 45-60 minutes to do everything.
Your Products are Picked Out & Ordered... Now what?
- You will be sent any digitals when they are fully retouched (usually 4-6 weeks) and your products will be ordered once those are edited (usually 2-6 weeks depending on collection). Depending on the time of year, it could take up to 8 weeks for full galleries to be delivered.
- In order to get your products to you as quickly as possible they will also be shipped directly to your address! YAY! No need to schedule another appointment for pickup or take time off from work again.
- Products take roughly 4-6 weeks to produce. Everything is custom and handmade at various professional labs throughout the world - quality takes time. Please keep this in mind if you have any deadlines when ordering. You'll want to book your session at least 6-8 weeks before you need your products.
- You've probably heard me say it before on social media but I'll say it again... Printed Photos hit different. Seeing yourself printed out on luxury art paper paper, sleek metal wall art or in a custom album is such an amazing feeling. Digitals are great to have on hand but holding a timeless product where YOU are the art... well that is pretty f*cking cool.
- This part of the boudoir experience might be the "end" but I know it's not the end of us! I can't wait to see you hanging out in The Badass Babes Club on Facebook or even sharing a couple of your spicy photos on the 'gram ;)
investment and products
THE SESSION RETAINER.
The Love and Wanderlust Boudoir Experience is $500. This is the session retainer that is due when you book your session date. This retainer is non-refundable after booking and does *not* include any images. The session retainer includes:
- emailed copy of my comprehensive prep guide to assist you in planning your experience
- 30 minute phone call to plan your session
- professional hair/makeup with my in-house artists
- access to our 100+ piece client closet with sizes XS to 4XL
- up to 1.5 hour photoshoot
- expert posing throughout your session
- professional image retouching; and
- your same day image reveal and ordering session.
IMAGE & PRODUCT INVESTMENT.
The photo session lasts a few hours, but the photographs will last forever. Whether it’s an album, heirloom box or wall art - everything I offer is delivered to you ready to hang/display and admire for a lifetime. Our Investment menu is curated with the most high-end, luxurious products to beautifully display your boudoir photos for a lifetime.
The A La Carte Menu begins at $1800 and Collections (popular products bundled together to save you money) begin at $2200. You can spend as little (the minimum $1800) or as much as you like after deciding what products are best for you. Our average client investment is $4800+ when opting to get an all inclusive, custom collection with the full hi-res gallery, luxe album, metal wall art and more. All products are custom and professionally made in Canada by a female run lab.
Collection purchases also include additional bonuses that you can add on to your session to make it that much more unique! A full list of options can be found on our website here.
PRE-SESSION PAYMENT PLANS
Pre-Payment plans are mandatory for all clients. Pre-payment plans are instalment plans where we split the cost of your desired collection or product purchase into equal payments leading up to 30 days before your session. You can do monthly, bi-weekly or weekly payments depending on what you are looking for. You can also choose the dates you want your payments to automatically come out - some people like to co-relate them to their pay days. We accept all major credit/debit cards. Payments in full can be made via e-transfer upon request. If you end up falling in love with more of your photos at your image reveal you can absolutely upgrade the day of, however payment plans are not available after your session.

THE STUDIO
Our West End Ottawa studio is currently in the process of moving locations. Any sessions currently booked for January to April 2022 will be taking place in our home studio. We are hoping by Mid Spring that the new studio will be up and running to move all sessions there! Both studios are in the West End of Ottawa and only 10 minutes apart.
The address is given to those who book their sessions.
