In your opinion, what makes Magnolia Green stand out?
I think the reason Magnolia Green stands out is the strong family feel of the neighborhood. We’ve been here for two years now and we have grown very close with our 'street family' and lots of others here in Walnut Cove. We have BBQs and cookouts, movie nights at the neighbors, holiday parties, we help each other out with house/yard work, we help watch each other’s kids, etc. There’s always someone that is willing to help out when one of us needs it and we look out for each other! I’ve never had that in any other place that I’ve lived.
What is your favorite social event in Magnolia Green?
There are so many social events to choose from! I feel like the more we grow, the more events that get offered – which is fantastic because there is always something to do. I personally love the Farmer’s Market. I love being able to drive up there on Saturday mornings and support the local businesses. I can get my produce for the week, local raw honey, flowers/plants for the yard and then on my way out I can grab breakfast for the family with donuts from Ms. Yoder’s. We also love the family pool party and Fall Fest!
Why did you choose Magnolia Green?
We chose MG for the schools and the family feel of the neighborhood. We wanted to live in a place that had lots of kids so that our children had the opportunity to make friends. In the past, we’ve lived in places that didn’t have this.
