#StrongHealthSystems Twitter Chat Monday, October 29 at 3pm CDT (4pm ET)

The #StrongHealthSystems chat will take place during the 2018 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (ASTMH). The theme of the ASTMH 2018 Annual Meeting is “There will be epidemics” with a focus on outbreaks.

About the Twitter Chat: The #StrongHealthSystems chat will focus on the ways in which all of our infectious disease areas (Zika, malaria, NTDs, etc.) are contributing to stronger, more resilient health systems that are able to prevent, detect and respond to global health threats. The goal is ) amplify the important lessons and research being shared at the ASTMH Annual Meeting, 2) encourage cross-sectoral learning, where tendencies have often been to stay in our siloed areas of infectious disease – at conferences and beyond. Join the conversation and share your #StrongHealthSystems successes and challenges!
