Proceeds from the 2019 Gala will fund international study tours for the faculty.

The Board of Trustees unanimously elected Ms. Valerie DiFebo (Bryan ’19) to the post of Board Chair at its May 2012 board meeting. Ms. DiFebo, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsch, Inc., a leading advertising agency in New York, has served on Buckley’s board since 2011. The length of her tenure as Chair - 2012 to 2018 - makes her the second longest-serving chair in Buckley’s history, second only to Morgan H. Grace, one of the school’s founders, who served for ten years beginning in 1923.
Val’s commitment to service extends far beyond her work on the board, volunteering for numerous Buckley events, serving as class parent and Spring Gala Chair with her husband, Dick, and co-chairing the Annual Fund in 2012. Val is a dedicated and enthusiastic philanthropist, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to honor her longstanding service to the Buckley community.
