A not so secret garden Le petit soufflé Opens In sm mega fashion hall with New dishes and a Bespoke bAkery

Hello there, Instagram foodies! Surely you're in for some good news today! If you are a fan of awesome tasting food with IG worthy qualities, then you may have already heard about Le Petit Soufflé. This French-Japanese fusion restaurant that started making its mark inside Century City Mall, Makati recently found another home inside SM Mega Fashion Hall, and my oh my am I impressed with how they were able to get that same, secret garden created inside the mall.

Le Petit Soufflé is located at the 2nd floor near Pull and Bear
Define cutesy. A perfect setting for the Instagram foodie.

Interesting Appetizers

I was in for a treat when I got the chance to try some of their bestsellers and new dishes as well, starting with a Marinated Octopus Salad served with a sweet and tangy vinaigrette.

The Yakult lover in me fell in love with Le Petit Soufflé's Yakult Guava Iced Tea, which is crafted by Chef Mikko Aspiras and has that subtle guava flavor that's not overpowering.

Chasyu Camembert

I suggest you get their delicious open faced toasts in Chasyu Camembert (and the one with the foie gras which is WOW) and the Instagram worthy Bacon, Cream and Egg Pasta, which comes with a mountain of beaten egg white that's torched perfectly. It may look complicated to eat but all you gotta do is to break into the unsweetened meringue as it becomes a unique sauce for the al dente pasta.

I personally love eating Spinach Artichoke Dip, so if you love it as much as I do, you'll surely enjoy Le Petit Soufflé's version of this dish.

The Mains

Chicken Ratatouille Savory Soufflé

There's no doubt that Le Petit Soufflé loves making soufflés - whether as a sweet or savory kind. Take for example the Chicken Ratatouille Soufflé which is a savory soufflé and with a hefty filling made with creamy and tender tomato based chicken rice.

Squid Ink Rice

I've tried the Squid Ink Rice before, and it still has that same delicious flavors of seafood black rice topped with a perfect layer of scrambled eggs which looks like the one you'd normally see on top of Omu Rice.

Let's talk desserts

The selection of sweet endings at Le Petit Soufflé is unique and great for sharing. Have a taste of their Taro French Toast (a perfect choice for taro lovers), sweet and toasty Pop Corn Mille-feuille, or the new and improved Valrhona Grand Crus which I love very much! All these desserts are just perfect with a cup of joe 😍

The Bespoke Bakery

And if you think that it's over after dessert, well it ain't! One should not forget to stop by The Workshop, which is a bespoke bakery that connects to Le Petit Soufflé. Here you can choose from their artisanal breads, cakes and pastries, even chocolates and meringues.

Make sure you get something before leaving the restaurant, or better yet, stay for a few more hours and have coffee served with some of their unique pastries. It's the ultimate gastronomic hangout so make sure you visit Le Petit Soufflé and The Workshop soon!
