new update from my heart

Hi family and friends of the whole world!

As many of you know, I have been a volunteer with YWAM for some years now and I recently returned to Mexico to work with the YWAM MORELIA base. For many this hasn’t meant much and have had many options for me to be outside missions. Also, even more knowing the situation in Venezuela, I have heard from people that what I do is waste time and I should be doing something within my own country, and not here in Mexico. However, I am absolutely sure this is what God called me to. I have no doubt that God spoke to me and I simply obeyed. Part of what he has called me to, at this time, is to have a life dependent on him in all aspects. Secondly, to serve him and be part of the growth of his church. I have a firm conviction that God has confirmed in my life to be and serve in this country. This is why I have worked hard in missions and for the benefit of others with a passion; because others can really know and experience Jesus. Being honest with all of you, many times I have been tired, I have wanted to leave everyone because of bad news in my country or not so good things that have happened within my family. However, God has always sustained me and provided through you, every need that has emerged in my life in recent years. Many, many, many of you have been a part and have been generous contributors in order for me to continue working. I could never express with words, my gratitude to each of you. Once again, here’s an eternal thank you for investing your time, prayers and money in my life. For being part of the transformation that God is bringing in the nations through missions. I have seen fruits and it is inevitable to see how God continues to work in me and through me.

Right now, I’m in Mexico. I have been here for almost four months and now this August I am about to finish the Word By Heart school. God has been confirming that after school I will stay here for a while and be part of the staff of JUCUM / YWAM Morelia. I already have a time being part of this community and I am sure that I want to continue working in favor of the Mexican people through missions.

For this time I have some needs that I need to cover to be here, among these are:

  • A visa to remain in Mexican territory (500 USD)
  • The total payment of my school (I still have to pay 400 USD)
  • Payment to be personal of the base (50 USD) per month.

I also have in mind to visit my parents. For a long time, I have not returned to my country (Venezuela) and it is in my heart to travel to see them and then return to continue working on missions in Mexico.

I know that God is in control, that he is good. and that he takes care of us. God has always taught me that through every process that I have lived in this time. I made this little letter with the intention of asking for help. I recognize that I cannot do it alone and asking for help is also part of working with the body of Christ.

Again, friends and family, could you consider helping me with this?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and thank you very much for all the interest you have shown for me and the missions over time. Thank you for your prayers and all the support. I am eternally grateful for y’all’s lives and carry them in my prayers. With love, Maye.
