Radnor Township School District 3rd-graders participated in the first-ever virtual Walk to Wayne field trip on May 21. The annual trip is part of the 3rd-grade Social Studies unit on the local community.
The channel featured video introductions from 3rd-grade teachers at Ithan, Radnor and Wayne elementary schools and Wayne Business Association Vice President Deanna Doane as well as video tours and informational videos about businesses, service providers and historical landmarks in Wayne.
"I watched all the Walk to Wayne videos with my mom and was bummed about missing out. So we decided to make our own version! My mom, my brother Will and I all rode our bikes from our house in Bryn Mawr to Wayne and then back this weekend! It was 9 miles when we were done and we got to see some of the places talked about."
