Immediate Implant Provisionalization: Digital Approaches to Optimize Outcomes
Thursday 28 May 2020, 04:00 PM UTC - 06:00 PM UTC
Success in single-tooth implant replacement therapy is no longer limited to functional rehabilitation, but is equally related to implant health, esthetics, and predictability of treatment. Contemporary workflows and materials have enabled clinicians to expedite care for patients from start to finish in a more personalized manner, with implant provisionalization facilitating a critical link between surgery and the ideal final restoration. This webinar will focus on the valuable role that single-tooth implant provisional restorations have in sculpting the peri-implant mucosa as it matures to maximize gingival esthetics, improve interdisciplinary communication, as well as promote an optimally designed definitive patient-specific abutment and crown. Evidence, indications, as well as contemporary digital workflows will be reviewed as it pertains to this important aspect of implant therapy.

At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand the critical role that implant provisionalization plays in optimizing peri-implant mucosal outcomes following surgery
- Evaluate workflow options for connecting immediate implant provisionalization to guided implant surgery
- Identify how implant provisionalization can leverage predictability with regard to patient-specific abutment and definitive crown design
