During the pandemic when churches closed down Fr. Daniel exemplified Jesus. He protected and guided his flock. When churches were shut down he created a shed outside the church and sat in the shed offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation for hours on end. On Palm Sunday he traveled for 12 hours blessing the palms of parishioners. He created a ministry where each parishioner was called and checked in on. Care packages were delivered to each parishioner. He offered daily and weekend live streamed Masses. He set up a drive in Mass at our local Walmart parking lot every weekend. He continues to offers several Masses per weekend so everyone can attend and feel safe. We have in the church live streamed, parking lot Mass, bring your own chair outside the church Mass. He truly has gone above and beyond!

Fr. Daniel lives what he preaches. He has a vision of discipleship. His love for Jesus is apparent in EVERYTHING he does. He emulates that love and we, his parishioners are drawn into Christ’s love through him. He has grown our parish family by leaps and bounds.

He was a rockstar through the quarantine and pandemic. People far and wide, not even part of our parish community have FLOCKED to our parish because of Fr. Daniel's commitment to his vocation and to Christ. His outreach was seen far and wide that newspapers and news stations have reached out to him to share how he has been a blessing to our community.
