The summer baseball experience for our student-athletes is beneficial in so many ways. First, it allows our players to compete with and against other athletes from D1, D2, and D3 universities across the country. - head coach Eric Cirella

Their development doesn't stop when our season ends in May; they get to build on the successes (or sometimes failures) from the college season. They get to learn new techniques to train and prepare for games from other coaches and players. - head coach Eric Cirella

On top of that, the relationships they forge with new teammates, coaches, general managers, and host families are something they will take with them long after their collegiate playing days are over. - head coach Eric Cirella

For Salve Regina, we gain nationwide notoriety when our players are all over New England, New York, the Mid-Atlantic, and all the way into the Mid-West. People who have never before heard of Salve Regina University, or Newport, Rhode Island, will now hear that school announced on a nightly basis when one of our players is batting or pitching. It is really a unique and fulfilling experience for everyone involved. - head coach Eric Cirella
