Strategic Planning: 2019-2024 College of the North Atlantic

Overview

College of the North Atlantic is currently developing a strategic plan that will frame its directions for the next five years. The planning process includes a number of information-gathering activities such as interviews, best practices research, and workshops.

It is important to us that this process be fully inclusive, engaging all college stakeholders, including students, graduates, college employees, industry, government, and the community. Our workshops give you a way to provide your valuable input on the future of the college and we hope to meet all of you through our planning process!

Workshops

Workshops are held at locations across Newfoundland and Labrador with virtual options available for those who cannot attend in person.

Workshop 1 was held in May and focused on future visioning

Workshop 2 is being held in June and focuses on creating action plans that will help us get from where we are now to where we want to be in the future

If you would like to attend workshop 2 please click the RSVP button to sign up.

Attend virtually

Can't make it to a location? No problem! You can attend virtually. Please RSVP workshop 2 above to register for the virtual participation. Attendance requires a decent internet connection and device with an updated operating system and browser. You can connect your computer using Skype for Business Web App plug-in.

A link to the session with instructions on how to connect will be emailed to you prior to the virtual session. If you are not a college employee using internal connectivity, we strongly recommend you test your connection prior to the event. Follow your browser's instructions for installing the Skype for Business Web App plug-in, which is required for audio, video, and screen sharing. On default upon entering the virtual session, your video will be off, and microphone muted. Please use the chat function to ask questions or troubleshoot connectivity. Here is a quick start guide for the Skype for Business Web App for review if you have not used it before.
