I tried these Bicol Crunch potato crisps from Crackle Chips! It's a unique spin on a familiar local taste profile sans the extreme heat that you'd normally get from the usual bicol express.
Pastry maker Joy San Gabriel also introduces 'Joy' cheese rolls in original and queso de bola flavors. This pastry is so soft and pillowy that it melts in your mouth!
Nope, it's not the Maria, but OZAWA Noritako and Ricebowls offer one-of-a-kind handheld sushi placed inside small taco shells! How innovative!
BFF will also feature MAMA Empanada this year, which is actually an original recipe since 1979. One bite and you'll instantly think that it tastes exactly like how a certain food chain would make it. But actually, the original recipe was bought from the owners of Mama and now they can make all the empanadas they want!
Always a sight to behold, melting raclette cheese will also take the stage this weekend at BFF. Try the traditional (with potato and veggies), with mojos or over spicy aglio olio pasta. Yummers!
Pier 77 promises to give you a can of the freshest crabs from the orient in a can. Each can actually uses approximately 30 crabs and you can use this to create things like crab chowder and even crab cakes!
And if you are already super full from all the eating and shopping, why not avail of a cup of coffee from Wheely's cafe, which now has more branches in the world than Starbucks (true story). Check them out at BFF as well!
